Why this matters
Impersonators can copy a name, logo, profile photo, and display name. The safer test is knowing what SellCardNow will never request and what should only happen through the official website or verified WhatsApp conversation.
The canonical place to verify the current official contact is sellcardnow.com/official-whatsapp. Type that URL directly into your browser if you are unsure.
The never-ask list
We will never ask you for any of the following:
- Your account password for a bank, email, wallet, or mobile money account.
- An email login code, two-factor code, OTP, or verification code sent to your phone.
- Your bank PIN, M-PESA PIN, MoMo PIN, wallet PIN, or payment app PIN.
- Your gift card full code or PIN in a public post, comment, or any unverified channel.
- A full receipt image in a public post, comment, or any unverified channel.
- Remote access to your phone or computer through screen-sharing or remote-control apps.
- Payment from you before, during, or after card verification. SellCardNow pays sellers; sellers do not pay release fees.
- Contact through a non-official WhatsApp, Telegram, social account, or forwarded number.
- A wallet seed phrase, crypto recovery phrase, or private key.
The will-ask list, through the official flow only
These are normal trade details, but they should be shared only through the official SellCardNow website, official WhatsApp conversation, or secure path we provide when needed:
- Card type, such as Apple, Amazon, Razer Gold, Steam, or Xbox.
- Card country or region, such as US, UK, EU, or another issuing region.
- Card amount or face value.
- Card image or code after you accept a quote, through the official SellCardNow flow only.
- Receipt or proof of purchase when needed, through the official flow only.
- Preferred supported payout method for your country.
- Payout account details through the official flow, such as an account identifier or phone number, never the PIN.
- Basic identity or anti-fraud checks when needed, through the secure path we provide.
Two patterns that look like SellCardNow but are not
Send the code first, then I will pay you
The real SellCardNow flow is quote, acceptance, verified channel, card review, then payout. Do not send a full code first in an unverified conversation.
Your card is blocked, pay a release fee
SellCardNow does not charge unlock fees, release fees, or verification fees to sellers. If a card has a problem, the trade stops or we explain what failed.
What to do if you already shared something sensitive
- Change any shared account password or PIN through the provider's official app or website.
- Block and report the fake contact if the request came from WhatsApp or social media.
- Assume a gift card code shared publicly or to an unverified contact may no longer be safe.
- Return to the official page and message SellCardNow through the verified button.
