M-PESA is the default for many Kenya sellers

M-PESA is the mobile-money rail many Kenyan gift card sellers choose because it lands in a wallet they already use. In our experience, many confirmed M-PESA payouts are completed quickly after confirmation, but this is not an SLA and SellCardNow does not operate the M-PESA rail.

Safaricom-side daily limits, verification windows for new accounts, and short maintenance windows can slow payout. These are outside SellCardNow's control, but they explain the rare cases where a payout takes longer than the usual experience.

Bank transfer and USDT — when each makes sense

Bank transfer routes to a licensed Kenyan bank account and can be useful if you want funds in your primary bank account.

USDT may be available when supported by the current SellCardNow flow. The chain and destination are confirmed on WhatsApp.

M-PESA PIN requests

SellCardNow will never ask for your M-PESA PIN, STK push code, Safaricom password, bank PIN, or wallet seed phrase.

STK-push social engineering

A real incoming M-PESA payout does not require you to enter a code. If someone tells you to enter an STK code to receive money, stop and re-verify.

What stays private every time

• Your gift card code or PIN stays on the verified WhatsApp only.
• Do not send full receipt images in public posts or unverified channels.
• Never share your M-PESA PIN, STK push code, Safaricom password, bank PIN, or wallet seed phrase.
• Do not publish specific rate numbers from a past trade.
